Tex-Mex Salsa with a Sizzle

Tex-Mex is so diverse and vibrant that it’s nearly impossible to capture the experience into a single flavor. Notice I said ‘nearly’ but because here at McCormick Flavor Solutions, the impossible is what we do.

We dug deep to uncover the essence of Tex-Mex and discovered that it’s not found within any single food. It’s how you cook the food that gives it its sizzle.

To achieve the impossible, we developed a combination of reaction flavors that delivers all the taste of a Tex-Mex salsa cooked on a plancha, the Spanish grilling method where food gets seared on a flat cast-iron griddle. Imagine tomatoes, onions and garlic grilled on that plancha with background notes of roasted cumin, paprika, chorizo and chili. Delicioso!
